At Yachtingsbest.com, we love getting on the water and are grateful for the amazing wildlife we get to see when away on our boats. To help protect marine wildlife populations and spread awareness about conservation organization programs, we have started Yachting’s Best | Marine Conservation.
The goal for this initiative is to give back to the community by offering the tools developed for Yachtingsbest.com to marine-focused conservation organizations for free and help get marine wildlife restrictions and best practices in the peripheral of the average mariner.
Through Yachting’s Best | Marine Conservation, organizations will be able to map, document, amend and create alerts for sensitive areas and connect with the boating public in a way that has never before been possible.
This will provide mariners with better information on conservation areas and the tools to help protect critical habitat & endangered species.
Yachting’s Best | Marine Conservation was launched with the BC Cetacean Sightings Network with the support of the Vancouver Boat Show, Pacific Yachting, and Icebreaker Merino.
Emergencies happen out on the water and getting help, or having it come to you, can become a life-threatening challenge. To help mariners when they need it most, our team at Yachtingsbest.com is developing an initiative called Yachting’s Best | Emergency Services.
The goal for this initiative is to give back to the community by offering the tools developed for Yachtingsbest.com as a free public resource for any mariner that wants to access or contribute emergency services information.
Through Yachting’s Best | Emergency Services, mariners will be able to document emergency services (hospitals, clinics, AED locations, Coast Guard Stations, tow services and more) and how to access them from the water.
We are thrilled to offer this free service and hopes it will help mariners quickly find the emergency help they need when every second counts.
Yachting’s Best | Emergency Services is currently in development and gathering data. This initiative is being developed with the support of the Vancouver Boat Show, Pacific Yachting Magazine, and Icebreaker Merino.
